The masthead

About TriHard Gaming Tech

A small independent publication about AI, PC hardware and the business of games, written from a desk in northern Indiana.

What This Is

TriHard Gaming Tech covers the parts of technology that outlast the news cycle: how a chip gets made and priced, what a benchmark actually measures, and who ends up paying when a market moves.

The games desk follows the industry's business model — who ships, who delays, who gets bought. The politics desk runs alongside both and stays separate on purpose, so the tech feed stays tech.

The Beats

  • AI: models, infrastructure, and the economics of compute
  • GPUs & CPUs: launches, pricing, and what the benchmarks actually mean
  • Hardware: cases, cooling, peripherals, and the parts nobody reviews twice
  • Gaming: consoles, the industry's business model, and where it's heading

How a Piece Gets Made

Reporting comes from published sources, linked at the bottom of every story so the work can be checked. Figures that are contested, single-sourced or self-reported get flagged in the text rather than rounded into confidence. Corrections are made in place and noted.

No sponsored posts, no affiliate links, and no ranking that anyone can buy.
